- Place the peeled mango chunks and ice cubes into the blender.
- Add a tablespoon of lemon juice to enhance the flavor and help prevent browning.
- Secure the lid on the blender and blend on high speed for about 30 seconds, or until the mixture is smooth, thick, and frosty. You should hear a consistent whir and see the ingredients turning into a velvety, icy slush.
- Stop the blender and check the texture—it should be creamy and ice-crystal free. If it’s too thick, add a splash of coconut water or more mango; if too runny, add a few more ice cubes and blend briefly again.
- Taste and adjust sweetness or acidity if needed—adding a little honey or more lemon juice if desired.
- Pour the chilled mango slushie into glasses, watching it fill with vibrant color and frosty texture. Garnish with a small mango slice or a mint sprig if you like.
Notes
For an extra creamy texture, blend in a few frozen coconut milk cubes before serving.
