Ingredients

  • 1 bottle rosé wine chilled and frozen overnight
  • 1/2 cup simple syrup cooled
  • 1 cup fresh berries for flavor and garnish

Equipment

  • Freezer
  • Blender
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Cutting board
  • Sharp knife

Method

  1. Pour the chilled rosé wine into a large, freezer-safe container and freeze overnight until solid.
  2. Remove the frozen wine from the freezer and break it into smaller chunks using a sturdy spoon or spatula.
  3. Add the wine chunks to a blender and pour in the simple syrup. Blend until the mixture becomes smooth and slushy, with a texture similar to a thick ice cream.
  4. Crack open the fresh berries and add some into the blender for extra flavor and a burst of color. Pulse a few more times to combine.
  5. Scoop the blended rosé mixture into chilled glasses, filling them nearly to the top.
  6. Garnish each glass with additional fresh berries or a sprig of fresh herbs if desired, and serve immediately with a straw or spoon.

Notes

Make sure to freeze the wine overnight to ensure the perfect slushy texture. Adjust sweetness by adding more or less simple syrup according to taste. Serve immediately for best icy consistency.
