Ingredients

  • 1 cup brewed coffee, cooled preferably brewed the night before and chilled
  • 2 cups ice cubes add more if needed for thickness
  • 1/2 cup milk cold cow's milk or dairy of choice
  • 2 tablespoons sugar adjust to taste, dissolve in hot coffee before cooling

Equipment

  • Coffee maker or brewing device
  • Blender
  • Measuring cups
  • Freezer
  • Serving glasses

Method

  1. Start by dissolving the sugar into your brewed coffee while it's still warm, stirring until fully combined.
  2. Let the sweetened coffee cool completely, then refrigerate until chilled—this prevents melting the ice too quickly when blending.
  3. Pour the cooled coffee into your blender, add the ice cubes and cold milk.
  4. Blend on high speed for about 30-45 seconds, until the mixture is thick, frosty, and evenly blended with a grainy, slushy texture.
  5. Stop the blender and give the slushie a quick stir to check for the right thickness—add more ice or milk if needed.

Notes

For an extra flavor boost, add a splash of vanilla extract or a pinch of cinnamon before blending. Serve immediately for the best icy texture.
