Ingredients

  • 2 cups frozen blueberries preferably ripe and plump
  • 1/2 cup vanilla almond milk for a creamy, nutty flavor
  • a pinch pinch sea salt to enhance natural fruit sweetness

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Measuring spoons

Method

  1. Place the frozen blueberries into your blender tower.
  2. Pour in the vanilla almond milk on top of the blueberries.
  3. Add a pinch of sea salt over the ingredients in the blender.
  4. Secure the lid and blend on high speed until the mixture is thick, frosty, and evenly combined, about 30-60 seconds. You should see a vibrant purple color and hear the blender hum smoothly.
  5. Pause to check the texture—if it’s too thick, add a splash more almond milk and blend briefly again.
  6. Once the slushie is smooth and icy, pour it into glasses. The drink should be thick enough to hold a slight mound, with a refreshing, icy appearance.
  7. Optionally, garnish with a few fresh blueberries or a tiny sprinkle of sea salt on top for added visual appeal and flavor.
  8. Serve immediately with a straw or spoon and enjoy the cool, sweet-tangy burst of fruit in every sip!

Notes

Adjust the amount of sea salt to taste and add more ice if a thicker texture is desired. For a variation, sprinkle a little lemon juice for extra brightness.
